How to Edit Batches of Google Ads

Editing Google Ads as a Batch allows you to optimize large amounts of Ads in a short amount of time. By grouping Ads together, you can optimize them all at the same time against a custom KPI Profile.


Optimize a batch of ads in the Atomic Reach Ads module.


Step 1: Navigate to the Ads Module in the top left navigation.


Step 2: Choose the appropriate account, campaign and AdGroup across the top navigation.


Step 3: Check the boxes on the left side to select the Ads you would like to group together as a Batch.

Step 4: Unroll the drop down at the top and choose "Optimize Selected."

Step 5: Choose a name for this Batch and select a Profile to measure it against. To learn about building Atomic Ads profiles check out this article.


Step 6: Atomic Ads module will analyze the selected Ads Batch in real time, providing you with optimized versions right away.


Step 7: Approve the optimizations by checking the thumbs up or thumbs down in the "Optimized" column.


Step 8: Once you have reviewed and approved the Ads you would like to keep, go ahead and click either "Export Approved Ads" to extract a file to upload into your Google Ads account OR click "Save Batch" to save your work to your Atomic Reach account.


Step 9: Log into your Google Ads account and upload your export to your Google Ads account.


Step 10: Within your Google Adwords account select Ads & Extensions from the menu on the far left.

Step 11: Select "More" from the far right.
Step 12: Upload your CSV and review your changes.
